Reciprocal Student Exchange Program
Members from the 2018-2019 C.O.A.L.S. Council traveled to the University of Auburn during the fall 2018 football season. As a result, representatives from the 2019-2020 C.O.A.L.S. Council will host the University of Auburn C.O.A.L.S. Council for a reciprocal student exchange weekend. This has become not only a unique recruiting event to the university as a whole and graduate programs in the college, but also allows C.O.A.L.S. Council members to travel to universities the Council hosts in hopes of continuing the event in the following years.

C.O.A.L.S. Cookout
At the end of each spring semester, the council organizes a tailgate event to celebrate the end of the academic year and provide a pre-finals study break. Students can compete in various tailgate games, listen to live music, eat delicious food, and socialize with fellow students within the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. This event is in conjunction with our Annual Domino Tournament, and is a highlight of the year.
C.O.A.L.S. Council Annual Domino Tournament
To support our students, COALS Council hosts our annual domino tournament in conjunction with the COALS Cookout. This event is a way to raise funds for the COALS Council Undergraduate Scholarship. Each year teams of two compete in a bracket style 42 domino tournament to show College Station who are the best bone slingers. Prizes and ultimate bragging rights are given to the top three teams.
